Senior Accountant Cum Administrator
Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant Cum Administrator to join our dynamic team in Doha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the overall business operations. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and administration within the industrial and oilfield safety and security services sector.

Responsibilities

Accounting and Financial Management:

  • Manage the complete financial accounting cycle, including bookkeeping, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Oversee cash flow management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and facilitate annual audits.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Administrative and Operational Support:

  • Manage office administration tasks, including procurement and inventory management.
  • Handle HR-related functions such as payroll processing, employee records management, and attendance tracking.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for efficient procurement and contract management.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Prepare and manage company documentation, licenses, and regulatory compliance records.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and administration, preferably in the local market (Qatar).
  • Postgraduate degree in a commercial subject (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration).
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar’s financial regulations and tax compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, or similar) and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
