We are seeking an experienced Design & Estimation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimation and design for Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Emergency/Exit Light, and Ventilation Systems. This role involves working on both project and maintenance tenders, with a focus on Oil and Gas sector projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates and technical proposals for various projects.
- Prepare detailed estimations for Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Emergency/Exit Light, and Ventilation System installations and maintenance.
- Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimations.
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and vendors to gather cost data and ensure accurate bidding.
- Collaborate with the design team to provide cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Ensure timely submission of tenders and proposals, meeting client requirements and deadlines.
- Provide technical support during the project execution phase and assist in resolving any estimation-related issues.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Fire Alarm, Fire Fighting, Emergency/Exit Light, and Ventilation System estimation.
- Proven experience in Oil and Gas tender estimation for projects and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of local and international safety standards and regulations.
- QCDD Certification (preferred) and a valid Qatar driving license (preferred).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in using estimation and design software tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas sector is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations in Qatar.
- QCDD certification and Qatar driving license will be considered a significant advantage.
